foremen/equipment operators

An equipment operator/foreman must possess knowledge to perform his/her job satisfactorily.  The essential criteria include the following:

  • Equipment Operator (i.e. Skid steer, loader, backhoe)
  • Basic Equipment Maintenance (grease, check fluid levels, etc.)
  • Knowledge of workplace safety practices
  • Ability to communicate and interact both verbally and written
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to operate a laser level
  • A keen eye to detail and good decision making skills
  • Ability to complete work projects on time and in an effective manner
  • Record keeping of daily tasks
  • Can work independently with minimum supervision
  • Must have a CDL license or be willing to obtain one

assistant foremen/operators

May have limited experience in the following criteria, and be willing to be trained further to improve their skills in all areas:

  • Equipment Operator (i.e. Skid steer, loader, backhoe)

experienced landscape technicians

Job Description:

  • Planting, fertilizing & watering of trees, shrubs and ground cover plants

  • Digging, raking, grading, seeding and sodding
  • Installation of mulch, plant mix & other landscape materials

  • Record keeping of daily tasks
  • May be required to use power and/or hand tools as need to complete the job
  • Must have initiative to perform/assist with other team members for job completion

internship positions

We offer internship positions for environmental, construction and horticultural fields of study. The successful candidate will be exposed to and trained in many of the criteria listed for the positions above, in addition to the following items as they pertain to his/her field of study:

  • Blueprint reading
  • Field assessment and layout for construction
  • Must learn and employ workplace safety practices
  • Record keeping of daily tasks
  • Ability to complete work projects on time and in an effective manner
  • Must have initiative to perform/assist with other team members for job completion
